People are awesome – September

To celebrate that people are awesome, we gathered some cool movies for you. All of the movies have something in common with food or health. This, because we like to share our EAT HEALTHY story with you.

If you do what you love and set your mind to it, you will often surprise yourself. And some people, know exactly what they are capable of and do really bizarre things. So in short, People Are Awesome. And we can’t say it enough. Share that positivity!

Every person is unique and that’s worth celebrating. This is our mission, captured in a thought, BORN FREE. To illustrate what BORN FREE means for us, we would like to take you on a journey. Starting with EAT HEALTHY.

Nothing is more important than taking good care of yourself. For us, this means being happy with yourself. How to achieve this, can be different for every individual. Some people like food and others are always in the gym.

Even though there is no ‘to-do list’ to be comfortable in yourself, there is a rule to life by. Known as, do it for you. Don’t let anyone decide how to live your life. Or better, we are BORN FREE. Let’s live like it!

When talking about People are Awesome, People following their hearts, being true to themselves and living adventurous, we think of Action Bronson. Being a rapper and food enthusiast he travels the world to find delicious meals and share them with us in his VICE Series.

Not so famous, but just as awesome is Sandra. A fun to follow gymfreak who found balance and changed her body.

Doing some research, we found some like-minded people who created the following video. Making exactly our point.

Last best, we would like to share a story of Annegien, better known as Fetching Tigers. We couldn’t think of a better end to this blog, than her story. This 17 year old girl learned a very important lesson of life at a very early age. Cheers!

? I have been sharing images on social media since I was 13. Over the years I have shared over a thousand pictures, lots of them being self portraits. For some reason it was easy for people to judge me. I was called fat. Yet people told me I had no boobs or but. People told me to lose weight. Yet people told me to eat more because I had no curves. I was 13 and this was a turning point in my life. I became self aware and very perfectionistic. I stared to dislike my body because people told me to. I wasn't trying to gain or lose weight, I would just not look at myself. My pictures changed and whenever just the tiniest bit of skin was showing I would photoshop a t-shirt over it. This last year, it all changed again. I feel more confident and comfortable in my body. Comfortable enough to share this picture with you guys. I have learned that one of the most important things in life is to LOVE your body and love who you are. YOU guys are all beautiful and please don't let anyone tell you any different.
